LCRHA Generates £155m of Social Value for Liverpool City Region

The Liverpool City Region Housing Associations has announced that in 2024/2025, they generated over £155 million of social value across the Liverpool City Region according to a consultancy from HACT.

The report highlights the scale of LCRHA’s impact on the region which also includes almost 125k people being supported by them, £590.4k invested into 286 grassroots groups to serve their communities, and 2.5k homes retrofitted and energy efficiency improved to at least EPC C.

This social value is produced by activities and services ran by LCRHA members, addressing problems such as social isolation, access to employment and training opportunities, the cost of living crisis, decarbonisation and environmental issues. The report highlights the centrality of central housing associations in tackling these issues in the LCR.

LCRHA Chair Claire Griffiths said about the report: “This is a strong reflection of what we’ve achieved together so far, but it’s also just the beginning. Through continued collaboration, we’re committed to building on this impact and delivering even greater outcomes for the people of our region.”

Prima Group are incredibly happy with our continued work with LCRHA, and are proud to see the impact of LCR housing providers in collectively improving communities and supporting customers.
