Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs)

What is STAIRs?

STAIRs (Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements) is a new UK Government regulation designed to ensure that all social housing tenants can easily access important information about their homes, services, and landlords.

The regulation comes into full effect on 1 October 2026, but we’ve already made the key information available so you can explore it now.

STAIRs Publication Scheme

Most of the information required under STAIRs is already published across our website. To make things simpler, we’ve brought everything together in one place, with clear links to the relevant pages and guidance on where to find each item on the Prima Group website.

Spending

We publish details about our spending, grants and use of service charge income in our financial statements. These can be found in the Our Performance section of our website, and are updated annually.

If you live in one of our homes where you receive a service to any part of your building, for example, hallway cleaning, or communal garden maintenance, you will need to pay service charges. These are small charges that are charged on top of your rent that cover the costs of providing any services you receive. You can learn more here.
