We aim to provide a safe, inclusive and diverse living environment and we are committed to safeguarding all of our tenants. Where safeguarding concerns are identified we will provide a service to our customers that will be confidential and non-judgemental, and we will endeavour to support tenants with their concerns and needs.

What is safeguarding?

Safeguarding is the action that is taken to promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Safeguarding is about protecting the health, well-being and human rights of an individual and ensuring they can live a life free from harm, abuse or neglect.

How do I report a safeguarding concern?

If you believe someone is at urgent risk, under threat of harm, or a crime is in the process of being committed, please call 999 immediately.

For further advice, you can contact your Local Authority Safeguarding team directly for guidance.

There may be times when something just doesn’t seem right and you’re not sure if to report it or not, our advice is always to share what you’ve heard or seen or are concerned about. You may not know who to report any concern to - please let us know as we can help.
