Paul Smith (Group Chair)
Paul is the Chair of Prima Group and has worked in housing for almost 40 years. He is a qualified Executive Coach and is Managing Director of Cloud Coaching Consultancy, with experience in assisting organisations to tackle operational and governance challenges, and works with a number of North West based Housing Associations. Paul is also Chair of NHF Board Members Forum.
Alison is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. She is a Member of the Group Board and is Chair of Prima’s Organisational Development & Governance Committee.
Glen Lewis (Group Vice-Chair)
Glen spent over 25 years in the Social Housing Sector latterly as Director of Housing for an RSL in the West Midlands, and has been a Board Director within the sector for over 10 years. Glen is currently UK Account Director at Mobysoft Systems, using his housing and IT skills to benefit a wide range of social housing customers. Glen is our Board’s Vice-Chair and sits on Prima’s FAC committee.
Councillor Ian Francis
Ian was previously City Councillor for Anfield and Deputy Chair of the Skills and Employment Committee. He is also the Armed Forces Covenant Champion for Liverpool and a member of the Environmental Regulatory Committee. Ian is a Member of the Group Board and sits on Prima’s CSP committee.
Richard is a Chartered Surveyor & Asset Director at Your Housing Group. He is a member of the RICS with over 10 years of senior management experience in social housing. Richard is a member of the Group Board and is Chair of Prima’s Customer Service & Performance Committee.
Martin recently retired after more than 40 years working in the financial services sector, predominantly in residential and corporate lending. He has also spent time working with social enterprises and various community based organisations including credit unions. During the most recent 15 years he has specialised in providing finance to Housing Associations, over which period he has held Board appointments with various Housing Associations and an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO). In 2002 he qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, and in 2004 he achieved a degree in Housing Professional Studies. Martin is a member of the Group Board and is Chair of Prima’s FAC committee.
James is Chief Executive of Stanton Fisher, a financial services business. He was the Chair of Weaver Vale Housing Trust and is a member of another Housing Association. James is a member of the Group Board.
Wendy has been a social housing tenant for over 20 years. She first became involved when attending a training course in Leasowe. She is a Member of the LCH Board.
Tony Dunne (Board Vice-Chair)
Tony has over 35 years experience in Housing Associations across the North West. His roles and responsibilities have been varied, including Chief Executive, Group Director and Managing Director, involving a spectrum of working environments from general housing needs, supported housing and commercial residential accommodation. Recently, Tony has become actively involved in the private sector in developing and promoting digital solutions to property compliance and safety. He is also a fellow of the Charted Institute of Housing, and is a Vice-Chair of the LCH Board and a member of the Group ODG Committee.
Marcus is Director of Governance at the Sovini Group. He has a BSc Hons Degree in Governance and has 12 years experience of working within housing at a senior management level. Prior to this he has 15 years experience working for a number of Local Authorities. Marcus also acts as company secretary for a number of companies and is a governor at a Liverpool primary school. Marcus is a member of the LCH Board and Group ODG Committee.
Louise has lived in Leasowe from childhood and has always been involved in local activities, volunteering in the community café, local dance club, local job club and various fundraising events. She is a member of the LCH Board.

Dave has 24 years experience with Liverpool City Council as Principal Mechanical Engineer, Head of Planned Maintenance and as a Strategic Client Manager. Dave is involved with the NHS as Deputy Chair Wirral GP Federation, Deputy Chair Wirral Patients and Member of Wirral CCG Operations Committee. He is a member of the LCH Board and Group CSP Committee.
Maggie has 40 years experience in Housing Development and Management. Her career commenced at Merseyside Improved Houses (now Riverside). She retired after 20 years as Chief Executive, from Family Housing Association in Birkenhead. Maggie is former Board Member and former Chair of PHA and was elected Chair of Wirral Partnership Homes (now Magenta Living), when transfer of the housing stock took place from Wirral Borough Council. She was also a Founding Trustee of Port Sunlight Village Trust and became Chair in 2007, a position she currently holds. Maggie is Chair of the Commercial Board.
John reports directly to the Prima Group Board and has overall responsibility for delivering the Group’s Corporate Strategy, and is accountable for Prima Group, Pierhead Housing Association, Leasowe Community Homes and Pierhead Commercial.
Karen is a commercial property litigation lawyer and was in commercial practice for 15 years. Karen is currently practicing law part-time, whilst progressing a career in travel and marketing. Karen has experience of chairing a Board of trustees and was previously a member of two other Boards, both in the care industry. Karen is particularly focused on risk and dispute resolution, and ensuring that problems that may occur are considered before they do. Karen is a member of the Commercial Board and sits on Prima’s ODG committee.
Chris is a Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years experience in construction, property and development, across a range of market sectors both in the UK and abroad.
