Prima supports ASB Awareness Week 2026
Prima Group backs national effort to tackle rising anti-social behaviour during ASB Awareness Week 2026. We’re proud to support this national campaign running from 29 June to 5 July 2026, which shines a spotlight on the impact of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and promotes safer communities.
Led by Resolve, the UK’s leading ASB community safety partner, the campaign is backed by Resolve members, HM Government, the Local Government Association, and national partners including the National Police Chiefs’ Council, National Fire Chiefs’ Council, Historic England, Neighbourhood Watch, the Premier League Charitable Foundation, the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners and others.
Now in its sixth year, ASB Awareness Week comes at a critical time. New research from YouGov, commissioned by Resolve in April 2026, shows that ASB is both widespread and worsening, with over half of UK adults having experienced or witnessed ASB in the last three years, and six in ten saying more needs to be done to tackle it.
To mark ASB Awareness Week 2026, Prima Group Housing Team have been working really hard over the last year to tackle ASB in local neighbourhood communities across the Liverpool City Region.
The housing team held a number of community action day events and have worked closely with local residents and key partners such as Merseyside Police and The Hive to help prevent ASB.
Between April 2025 and March 2026, we dealt with 58 reported cases of ASB:
Noise nuisance remains the highest type of ASB complaint we are receiving.
Below are some of the key actions our housing officers have taken to address these ASB cases.
Cases by Housing Officer
Timely responses to initial reports of Anti-Social Behaviour and taking prompt action to address issues before they escalate
Housing Officers regular estate observations and block inspection to identify potential issues and take appropriate action.
Housing Officers attending regular multi-agency meetings in their locality - sharing intelligence with partners agencies as required
The use of the ‘ASB APP’ is key for customers to upload evidence which Prima use to take action against perpetrators
These activities underline our commitment to tackling ASB, empowering local people, improving confidence in reporting and support.
John Kavanagh, Head of Housing & Sustainment commented, “We are committed to supporting ASB Awareness Week 2026. Anti-social behaviour is a significant issue as it affects people’s sense of safety, their mental health and, for some, their ability to stay in their home. ASB Awareness Week is an important opportunity to raise awareness, support victims and make sure people know where to turn for help.”
Rebecca Bryant, Chief Executive of Resolve, noted, “ASB Awareness Week is an important campaign with a national message where frontline practitioners come together helping to bring awareness to anti-social behaviour being a major concern for communities. It is a deeply disruptive issue that affects how safe people feel, their wellbeing and, for some, whether they can remain in their home. ASB Awareness Week is about raising awareness, improving confidence in reporting and strengthening the partnerships needed to respond effectively. We are delighted that Prima Group is supporting this vital campaign.”
If you are affected by ASB you can report it using our ASB APP, your housing officer, or the police if you are in immediate danger. You do not have to live with ASB and help and support are available.
