Main Duties
As a Communication & Marketing Advisor you will be telling the story of Prima, by delivering a comprehensive communication and marketing service for the Group focusing on best practice, improving quality, consistency and impact of our communications and output.
Communications
Supporting Prima’s aims by planning in communication and campaigns, managing the consistent distribution of information to all stakeholders.
To identify, research and develop opportunities and content that will present a positive image of the organisation and to raise its profile, develop its reputation and maximise reach.
To co-ordinate the preparation of press releases including content and responses to media enquiries and developing good working relationships with media outlets.
To promote activities Prima are involved into relevant stakeholders.
To create content and regularly update and prepare relevant material for all channels, print and digital. This includes social media and digital platforms and emerging channels.
Monitor the effectiveness and impact of marketing and communications campaigns and use this to inform decision making.
Support with the planning and managing of events where promotion of Prima and our activities is required.
Liaise with a range of external suppliers, including print, mailing houses, web hosts and merchandise companies to ensure value for money.
Liaise with press as and when media enquires come in.
Design
To act as brand ambassador controlling the creative design and publications of communication, marketing and promotional materials.
To design and manage the website, responsible for collating the content and format of our website and the functionality for users, including accessibility requirements.
To produce corporate documents, including the Annual Report, customer newsletters and other regular publications, collating data and content, using design software.
Shooting and editing visual content, creating videos, images and graphics that are engaging and informative using cameras, video recording equipment and drones.
Collaboration
Support Prima in identifying and submitting award nominations and applications where relevant to our objectives.
Manage the communication aspect of the intranet, ensuring content is engaging.
Support other teams with drone usage for surveys and other uses.
Work with partners to develop content, communications and marketing materials for example LCR and CHP, managing their social media accounts and websites as required.

Skills & Competencies for the role:
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
Marketing/communications/PR qualification, degree or equivalent, CIM accreditation would be desired
Experience of working within a communication and/or marketing role where focus has been on producing high quality content and campaign management
Having experience across a broad range of media including digital, social and print to produce engaging content and campaigns
Experience of delivering high quality information within required timescales
Digital marketing experience (including website, CMS and social media)
Strong IT skills in packages relevant to role (InDesign, Adobe, Canva, Illustrator, Squarespace)
Experience of video creation – shooting and editing
Experience of working with design agencies and external suppliers, including briefing and project managing their activities.
Contributing to and fulfilling design, photography and film briefs
Knowledge of customer segmentation methods for targeted communications
