Can I get independent advice?

Yes! All our tenants can access Raise services – an independent charity dedicated to

offering free confidential advice and support on budgeting, benefits, and debt.

What if I pay Service Charges?

Service charges cover things that are not included in your rent, for example cleaning shared spaces gardening in communal areas maintenance of shared equipment or areas. Charges may go up or down, depending on the services provided and are reviewed at the same time as your rent.

I am in receipt of Universal Credit; what should I do?

You will need to update your Universal Credit journal with your new rent amount after the date provided on page 1 of your Rent Letter. Here’s how to do it:

- Log in to your online UC account

- Go to your to-do list

- Select the task to “Report a change” in housing costs and enter the new rent amount

- Then select “Where you live and what it costs”. This will update with your new rent charge.
