The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) introduced a new Regulatory Framework which came into effect on 1st April 2015 and provided guidance in relation to economic regulation and consumer regulation roles. The Regulatory Standards contain the outcomes that providers are expected to achieve and the specific expectations of the RSH as a regulator.
On an annual basis, a thorough and transparent self-assessment of compliance with the Regulatory Standards for Social Housing is undertaken. This has been completed, internal challenge obtained and the findings reported to the Board for assurance purposes. Our own self-assessment found that we comply with the expectations of the Regulatory Standards.
As part of the expectations from our regulators, Prima Group are expected to choose a governance standard and assess compliance with it on a regular basis.
Prima have adopted the NHF Code of Governance. We assess our compliance against the code on an annual basis and our current assessment is that we fully comply (June 2018).
